Robert Marx
The Marx family first came to Hawaii in 1921. Having roots here for over 100 years makes our personal injury lawyer especially dedicated to helping his neighbors.
Before becoming a personal injury lawyer, Mr. Marx spent three terms as an elected member of the Oregon House of Representatives. His honors included winning the Senior Citizen Advocate of the Year. He returned to Hilo in 1980 and brought the same dedication he showed to Oregon's aging population to victims of car accidents and other personal injury law issues.
Hannah McKee
Attorney Hannah McKee earned her law degree from the University of Hawaii in 2020 and joined our team shortly thereafter.
As a law student, Ms. McKee received the CALI award for Lawyering Fundamentals II. This honor is given to the student who achieved the very highest grade in their class. Her impressive internships included stints with the Hawaii Innocence Project and State of Hawaii – Office of the Public Defender. Ms. McKee is also a published author. Her storytelling skills are key for developing persuasive arguments in personal injury cases.
Our Lawyers Are Supported By a Trusted Staff
Our legal and administrative assistant, Noe, has an extensive background in the medical field. She was instrumental in opening the Hilo Pain Clinic and previously worked as Dr. John Turner's medical assistant. She provides invaluable assistance to our personal injury attorney.
Our paralegal, Shawn, left a nearby civil litigation firm to join our personal injury law team. She has years of paralegal experience and a commitment to our community. Shawn is Chairperson for the Board of Registration, Hawaii Island – Office of Elections. She is also active in HOAs, car shows, and dog care and training.
Nancy, our secretary, was born and raised on the Big Island. She earned a degree in Secretarial Science from Hawaii Technical School in 1968. Nancy has worked for law firms in three different states and has been with our personal injury lawyer since 2016.
